‎Angola: Variation in Wholesale Price Index Reaches 1.24%

The Wholesale Price Index (IPG) has registered a monthly variation of 1.24 per cent in the period from January to February 2017, thus representing about 0.04 percentage points higher than the previous period, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).
According to the INE report by ANGOP, the variation in the whole sale price index from February 2016 to February 2017 is 28.82 per cent, an increase of 14.73 percentage points compared to the month of February 2016.
During February 2017, the prices of domestic products increased by 1.29 per cent  as compared to January 2017.
As for imported products, the inflation in January 2017 was 1.22 per cent.
