Angola: Variation in Wholesale Price Index Reaches 1.24%

The National Statistics Institute (INE) has said the Wholesale Price Index (IPG) has registered a monthly variation of 1.24percent  in the period from January to February 2017, thus representing about 0.04 percentage points higher than the previous period.
According to the INE document that reached ANGOP on Thursday, the variation in the whole sale price index from February 2016 to February 2017 is 28.82 percent, an increase of 14.73 percentage points compared to the month of February 2016.
During February 2017, the prices of domestic products increased by 1.29percent as compared to January 2017.
As for imported products, the inflation in January 2017 was 1.22 percent.
