China Tours to Ghana Smoothened

The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts appreciates the anchor of Ghana’s contributions to the field. The Minister, Mrs. Elisabeth Ofusu-Adjare was a speaker at the Ghana-China stakeholders’ forum with Chinese tour operators and travel writers in Accra on the theme: “Promoting Ghana as a Chinese Outbound Tourism Destination.” 
Minister  Ofusu-Adjare stated that the visit will assist in the promotion of Ghana as the preferred tourism destination in West Africa to the Chinese outbound market.

The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the non-profit organization Tourism Safety Security Initiative, the Ghana Police Service and other security agencies have initiated measures to ensure adequate security for all visitors.
Additionally, the Ministry and that of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration as well as some departments were collaborating to facilitate the speedy processing and acquisition of Ghana visas by Chinese tourists.

“I wished to commend the Ghana Immigration Service for granting visas on arrival on gratis basis for this group. This is ample demonstration of the GIS’s commitment to ensure smooth and hassle free entry into Ghana,” Minister Ofusu=-Adjare said.

Dr. Adam Wu, the Chief Executive Officer of CBN Travel and MICE, said the organisation supported tourism promotion for authorities at the national, regional and local levels.
