The market leader in the supply of road construction equipment, Mantrac Ghana, has organized a one-day seminar in Accra for its customers in the road construction industry. The theme for the seminar was ‘CAT Road Construction Complete Solution’.

The Ministry of Roads and Highways, Members of ASROC (Association of Road Contractors) and PROCA (Progressive Road Contractors Association) as well as customers of Mantrac Ghana across the country graced the occasion.

The Managing Director of Mantrac, Mr. Emad Adeeb, noted that the seminar was timely and relevant due to the enormous road construction projects like the Circle Interchange, Kasoa overpass, and the Cocoa roads projects currently under construction with 80% CAT construction machines.

“In offering the best options to our customers we don’t only sell new machines but also Rental Machines and Cat-Certified Used Machines, aside from the mining equipment, forklifts and the legendary CAT power generating sets,” he said.

Over the years Mantrac Ghana has supported various infrastructure development projects.

“In today’s competitive world of construction, contractors are facing a lot of challenges to maximise their productivity and lower operating cost, and that is where CAT Equipment comes in. We make progress possible.” Mr Adeeb said.

The seminar provided an opportunity for the company to connect with their customers.

A B&FT report revealed that Mr. Adeeb mentioned some of the major investments that the company is undertaking to serve customers better, including a US$40m Caterpillar Engine Rebuild Center under construction.  These investments will support Ghana and the West Africa sub-region. A project comprising over 26 acres, with a 10,000 square meter repair center and a 5,000 square meter warehouse to be completed by the end of the year.

The Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, Mr. Adjei Mensah, commended Mantrac Ghana for its major dealings in the country which has lasted for over 78 years.

The Minister urged the company to strengthen its presence nationwide and continuously improve on its after-sales services to ensure contractors who buy its products benefit from its rich experience and expertise.
