An online jobs market platform,, has launched a free website outlet to help young people find quick, casual jobs to continue earning an income while they wait for their big opportunities. The Owner and Founder of the website, Mr Joseph Okechukwu Nwudu said, the issue of unemployment in Nigeria is alarming so he created a micro jobs market online platform.
“As the youth population continues to climb in Nigeria, so does the unemployment rate. In fact, unemployed youth numbered about 11.1 million in 2012, as noted in a 2012 report conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). It’s the younger youths that struggle even more to find jobs, as at least two-thirds of unemployed Nigerians are between 18 and 28 years of age. “The issue of unemployment in Nigeria is alarming, and so many students and young graduates are unemployed. Many are waiting for a big opportunity with the blue chip companies and organizations, which is having a negative effect on not only our economy but our society as well.”

“I wanted to create a company and online job market platform that would provide opportunities for work now, thus was born.” Stressing that, the micro jobs market was unexplored in Nigeria, which lead to a huge vacuum that needed to be filled, so he developed as a way to help young people find quick casual jobs to continue earning an income while they wait for their big opportunity. The site features free account creation: “Individuals, companies and businesses can sign up and make an account for free, and from there they can post and edit unlimited jobs, apply for unlimited jobs and communicate freely without any restriction.”
Other features include: Resume builder; Professional Profile Builder; Hiring with confidence and Talent Forum.
