The President of Malawi, Peter Mutharika will be among several head of states to attend the World Economic Forum scheduled to take place in China.
Speaking upon departure at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) on Sunday, President Mutharika said Malawi will benefit a lot in the way on how to implement its economic reforms.
“Many ideas on economic reforms will come out and our country will learn from their and implement them back home,” he said.
President Mutharika added apart from the forum and meeting several other investors, he will also meet Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and the two will table for discussion a number of projects for Malawi.
Malawi has been in bilateral relations with China since 2007 after dumping Taiwan.
