Tanzania’s Precision Air has relaunched a direct service from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Entebbe, Uganda, a route that was suspended in 2013 at the height of a rationalization process and network restructuring by the airline.
The Dar es Salaam-Entebbe flight becomes Precision’s second international route after Nairobi and the first direct Tanzania-Uganda service in the region.
The airline will fly to Entebbe thrice weekly every Monday, Thursday and Saturday with Hillary Mremi, the Corporate Affairs Manager at Precision Air adding that market trends would be the basis for future increased frequency.
The public company which began as a private charter service is owned by among others Kenya’s national carrier Kenya Airways.
It flies across Tanzania to Arusha, Bukoba, Kigoma, Kilimanjaro, Musoma, Mtwara, Mwanza, Tabora, Zanzibar and internationally to Nairobi and now Entebbe.
