About the development

It is located only 16km from the Lusaka Central Business District on the Great North Road heading to the Copperbelt Province.

The proposed development is a total area of 46.8 hectares of land held under title deed on Plot No. L 13132/M.

Development zones

The proposed mixed-use development will primarily comprise the following (subject to change on agreement with the investors):

  • Residential (24.55ha)
  • Boutique hotel (2.5ha)
  • Business and Commercial (3.0ha)
  • Open Spaces (9.38ha)
  • Institutional (0.24ha)
  • Recreational, theme park and public utilities (7.09ha)

The residential properties will comprise houses and high-rise apartments. The business and commercial properties will include a shopping mall, office retail park and a cinema hall. There will also be community services such as an administration centre, a police station and a nursery and primary school.

Additionally, open spaces will be provided comprising public parking areas, a recreational park, a sports area and a garden park. Provision will also be made for public utilities such as sewage treatment, water storage, a fire station and an electricity substation.
