Angolan Govt Carries out Feasibility Studies to Re-Launch Textile Sector

The Angolan Government has carried out an analysis of the viability conditions of the textile manufacturing plants in the country with the aim of accelerating the sector’s growth.
This was during a joint session of Cabinet Council’s Economic and Real Economy Commissions chaired by President José Eduardo dos Santos.
The Government team analysed, among other units, the Textile Africa (Benguela), Textang II (Luanda) and Satec (Cuanza Norte).
The Ministry of Industry is saddled with the responsibility of the government’s programme to re-launch the textile sector in the country.
The working agenda of the ordinary meeting includes the draft Executive Decree on insurance for import of goods.
Other highlights of the sixth ordinary session are the memorandum on Postal Bank, the strategic relationship with the Post Office of Angola.
The programme also includes, report on the execution of the cash plan for February this year, the financial programme for the second quarter of 2017 as well as the cash proposal for  April of the current year.‎
