Maj. Gen. Adamu Tubase Ibrahim (Rtd). GSS, DSS, MNI


The Chairman of the company, Maj. Gen. Adamu Tubase Ibrahim (Rtd), is a retired General with vast connections around the world and an excellent understanding of the African terrain. Major-General Adamu Ibrahim is an embodiment of an officer and gentleman. In his chosen military career in the Nigerian Army, he rose from humble beginnings and went through the Officers Corps of 2nd Lieutenant from the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1974 to the formal retirement height of Major-General. He was also the General Officer Commanding (GOC) one of the most strategic Divisions in the Army, the 82nd Division. General Adamu Ibrahim possesses the rare quality of combining military and civil knowledge via an integrated human resources development.

Gen. Adamu received his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Oklahoma University, Norman USA, Ma (International Relations & Diplomacy – USA), PGDip, (GIMPA). He is a Member of Nigerian & American Society of Meteorologists and a member National Institute of Policy & Strategic Studies.


Osita Oparaugo

President & CEO

Barrister at Law, Osita Oparaugo is the President and CEO of Footprint to Africa Limited. Over the last decade, his leadership qualities have resulted in him being nominated on the advisory board of over six companies in different African countries. He is regarded among his peers as a “closer”.

Osita received his Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of Buckingham, United Kingdom and holds several international certifications, including a certification on Capital Markets, Project Finance and Business Strategy from Harvard Business School. He has also taken courses on resource development centering on project planning, development and implementation in developing countries.

Barrister Osita Oparaugo is a Merit Award Winner in recognition of his selfless contribution and dedication to rural development in Africa. He is actively involved in various charitable causes around Africa and has till date financed Wings of Justice Africa Foundation, a foundation providing free legal representation to the less privileged in Africa. www.wingsofjusticeafrica.org.



K. George Lakis

Head, International Business Development

George Lakis is based in South Florida and with global reach and has led projects, operational teams and business partners to creatively produce new revenue streams and deliver tangible benefits to all stakeholders. Has Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering from Florida International University, Miami, Florida.

He is a dynamic and talented business leader demonstrating on-going vision, quality and a strong commitment to excellence to achieve corporate objectives and goals.

Liaison dedicated to promoting cross-cultural initiatives across global borders to break down barriers and foster emerging business opportunities for a win – win outcomes through creativity, innovation and leading technology.

George with his expertise in strategic alliance & partnership, business development & strategic planning will continue to liaise between companies, global business leaders and Footprint to Africa in sourcing and securing viable projects in Africa.


Emily Moshodi

Head, Intra-African Trade Development

Emily Moshodi is a South African citizen and a very resourceful woman that has graduated most business ideas and  contacts to the next level since joining the Footprint to Africa team. She has special expertise in structuring project development arrangements, Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) arrangements, debt and equity financing arrangements, procurement, marketing and agency arrangements, and related project arrangements.

She received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa and holds a certification in program for Management Development (PMD) NFQ Level 4 Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Milly A. Mania

Head, Media

Milly A. Mania is a trained Journalist with vast experience in the Media Industry. A communication and English Graduate from Daystar University, she was also a news monitoring and analysis consultant for a leading TV station in Kenya.
