Angola: ‎Poland Invests USD 50 million in Agribusiness

At least 50 million US dollars are being invested in the agribusiness in a farm located in Caxito northern Bengo province, by the Polish business group “POLTEC”, aimed to contribute to Angola increase food autonomy.

The fact was released Thursday in Luanda by the CEO of the company, Tomasz Dowbor, who was speaking to the press, on the sideline of the meeting of the MPLA candidate for the presidency of the Republic, João Lourenço, with businesspeople from 18 provinces of the country.

According to  Dowbor, this investment began its implementation this year, on a farm with more than 1.500 hectares already prepared.

He said that the phase have already taken place since 2016, for the implementation of pig farming project, poultry, and a grain production chain.

The first phase around this project began in 2016, with the installation of the first 16 model premises where tests are being made in the agribusiness sector, according to Tomasz Dowbor.
