Leading regional lender, Ecobank has committed to continue with an ongoing innovation strategy that has seen the group named the ‘Best Retail Bank in Africa 2019’ at the prestigious African Banker Awards.
The bank was recognized for its state-of-the-art products, services, functionality and constant innovations that provide convenience, accessibility and affordability to meet the evolving needs and expectations of its customers across 33 African countries. This is whilst also successfully driving financial inclusion.
Ecobank is a subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), which currently has a presence in 36 African countries, including: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon and Cape Verde, among others.
At the event, Ecobank was also nominated for African Bank of the Year in the Awards. The Award ceremony was held this June in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
