UAE, Saudi Arabia grant $3 billion to Sudan

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have granted Sudan $3 billion to support a number of projects in the North Africa nation.

The grant includes a $500 million deposit into Sudan’s central bank, while the rest will be in the form of food, medicine, and petroleum products.

The support is to help relief Sudan of its economic crisis, particularly shortage of food and medical supplies.
