Cloud-based, integrated accounting solution Sage Live is now available in South Africa, the market, and technology leader in accounting, payroll and HR and payments systems Sage has announced.

Sage Live supports companies scaling up for growth by bringing together finance, sales, CRM and operational data to provide them with a powerful, single view of their business.

“Entrepreneurs don’t go into business to manage taxes and admin, so we’re striving to make these tasks invisible,” Sanrda Crous (Swanepoel), Vice-President for Midmarket Africa and the Middle East at Sage said.

Sage Live gives businesses one source of information across the front office and back office and across multiple countries and dimensions to create “one office”, enabling entrepreneurs, accountants and employees to view their information in real-time and work as one team.

The solution is built on the Salesforce platform which enables small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to run completely in the cloud and control complex operations; eliminate low-value tasks, and respond faster to customers.

It also allows connection with thousands of third party apps via the Salesforce App Exchange.

Via Chatter, the integrated social media tool that enables employees to do more, anytime anywhere, Sage Live will offer businesses in South Africa business and office collaboration through which employees can share knowledge, files, and data; and connect with experts across their organization regardless of their roles.

Sage Live allows customers to run their businesses from anywhere with total usability across smartphones, tablets and other supported devices, ensuring all team members have access to the data they need, when they need it.

Its key features include world-class cloud and mobile accounting; simplified management of multiple businesses; and powerful and touchless bank account management.

Sage recently launched Sage One Payroll, a round-the-clock smart online payroll solution for startup and small businesses that caters for local tax and legal requirements in Kenya.
