MTN Ghana Launches Big 60 Commemoration Promo

MTN Ghana has launched the ‘MTN BIG 60 Promotion’ to bring exciting rewards to customers, as a way of commemorating the 60 years of Ghana’s independence from March 1 to 31.

Mr Richard Acheampong, the Acting Chief Marketing Officer at MTN said, “Ghana remained a symbol of hope for Africa in many ways.

“As the leading telecommunications service provider in the country, MTN strongly identifies itself with Ghana’s attribute of being a trail blazer.”

As part of the promo, Mr Acheampong said, “MTN will be rewarding among others, FREE UBER rides for 600 customers, Birthday cakes for 600 customers.

“600 customers will be invited to Movie Mana at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra and West Hills Mall in Weija, and subscribers who use GHC60 and 60p daily will also get up to 60 minutes free airtime and 60 megabite of free data daily,” he said.

He said as Ghanaians celebrate independence; MTN subscribers have a lot to communicate about and therefore the need for the interesting offers on the BIG 60 Promo and many other offers that would increase the bond among families and friends.

He noted: “The massive investment we have made in our network makes communications easy for our subscribers and places us well on the path to fulfill our vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital world to our customers.”

Last year MTN invested 96 million US Dollars in network expansion and a further 18 million US dollars to deploy 475 4G sites across the country.

Mr Acheampong said MTN was committed to fulfilling their mission of satisfying customers.
