The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) has invited Footprint to Africa, the widely respected premium African news media and Investment Company based in Lagos, to be an official partner for its Direct Investors’ Summit scheduled to hold from May 21 – 23 in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

Footprint to Africa Investor Service acts as a bridge between global investors, African business owners and government agencies, helping intra-African and foreign investors find the right partners and opportunities, form joint ventures or partnerships, and establish presence through public private partnerships (PPP).

The Summit is expected to bring more than 100 Domestic Direct Investors (DDI) and Foreign Direct Investors (FDI) together with policy makers in Africa’s largest economy, and bring to fore the immense investment opportunities in the country with a view to attracting long-term investments into the country.

The event will be attended by decision makers and top public and private sector chiefs, including Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari who will deliver the keynote speech.

Investment opportunities abound in Nigeria, a country blessed with rich mineral resources, huge arable land and a large youth population. To ensure these opportunities are identified and adequately harnessed, the Nigerian government set up NIPC in 1995 and tasked it with promoting, coordinating and monitoring all investments in Nigeria.

The Direct Investors’ Summit will also offer a platform to discuss investment needs and goals without the need for investors to visit various locations in Nigeria to view opportunities.

The Summit holds at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

The NIPC is a Federal Government Agency in Nigeria established to encourage, promote, and coordinate investments in Nigeria. The Agency provides services for the grant of business entry permits, licenses, authorisations and incentives in a One-Stop-Shop environment. The services are provided in a coordinated, streamlined, efficient and transparent manner to meet the needs of investors.
