Australian businesses are preparing to touch down in Zambia as part of the South-Central African nation’s ongoing drive to introduce international investors and businesses to Zambian investment and trade opportunities.
Beltz Pty Limited, An Australian mining and exploration company, in collaboration with the Australia Africa Business Council, the Australia Zambia Business Council, the Zambia Development Agency and the Zambian High Commission in Canberra are set to convene in Zambia next month for a high-profile business forum.
Beltz Pty, which deals in Gold, Copper, Coal, Lithium, Nickle and Ore exploration in Ghana, Guinea, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, along with its aforementioned partners, will be hosting the forum in Lusaka, Zambia from the 11th to the 13th of February, 2019.
The company was founded by Nkandu Beltz, who is well known for her social pioneering projects in Africa and Australia.
The February platform hopes to link stakeholders with investors and ensure best practice in corporate and organisation sustainability and responsiveness, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Development Program.
The business forum, which will culminate in a series of business-to-business (B2B) meetings, will offer participating businesses an opportunity to showcase their products and services, explore prospects for doing business and possibility of engaging into strategic joint venture partnerships.
The forum will also provide opportunities for businesses to share advanced technologies, management skills and best practices in the carefully selected sectors.
Australian companies will have a chance to market their products to the companies represented at the forum.
Meanwhile, participants will get an opportunity to meet and network with key government trade and investment departments and key members of local chambers of commerce and business associations within Zambia.
