Kenya-Based Marketing Company, Glass House PR Introduces Public Relations for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Africa

Glass House PR Limited, a Kenya-based independent agency, has introduced public relations services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Africa.

The organisation, which has worked with brands in virtually every category, ranging from tech companies and real estate firms to consumer products and travel, made the declaration this February.

“Frustrations naturally accompany a tedious and resource consuming exercise in which results are never forthcoming despite the efforts,” Glass House PR said in a statement following the announcement.

“This is typical of small businesses, which consist of 95% of all companies in Sub-Saharan Africa. About 44 million formal SMEs exist in the continent, 7 million of which are based in Kenya. In the past, SMEs put limited emphasis on public relations because of the associated expenses. Glass House PR states that now, most of them are beginning to understand why it is important to place PR at the center of business operations.
