Innoson to Commence Exportation of Made-in-Nigeria Cars to Mali

Nigerian Car Manufacturer, Innoson is set to commence the exportation of cars to West African neighbours Mali after a delegation from the landlocked country visited the car manufacturer’s plant in Nigeria.

The delegation, led by the Mayor of Bamako, made a trip down to Nnewi, Anambra State, one of the beaming commercial cities in Eastern Nigeria and home to Innoson, the country’s first indigenous car manufacturer.

The team from Mali, which also included The Charge D’ affaires, Nigeria Embassy, Mali, Zayyad Abdusalami, Minister of Employment and Professional Training Mali, Director of Regulation Urban Transport of Bamako, CEO of TAXI Plus Mali, CEO GINCO Group Mali, met with the management of Innoson and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purchase of 400 cars, which would be exported to Mali once they have been manufactured.

The move marks Innoson’s entry into the Malian market and further enhances its growing reputation as a formidable car manufacturer within West Africa and a rapidly evolving car brand across the continent.

Innoson cars already present in the Republic of Benin and Ghana.
