Marriott International Continues with African Expansion as Group Opens Four Points by Sheraton Setif Hotel in Algeria

United States-based hospitality giant, Marriott International is continuing with its expansion in Africa. The franchise, which is based in Bethesda, Maryland, in the US, has announced the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Setif Hotel in Algeria, in partnership with Prombati SPA owned by Mr. Rachid Khenfri.

The ‘Four Points by Sheraton’ brand is part of Marriott International, Inc., and includes over 250 hotels in more than 40 countries and territories.

“Four Points by Sheraton Setif is Marriott International’s ninth property in Algeria and a great addition to our rapidly growing portfolio in North Africa,” commented Alex Kyriakidis, President and Managing Director, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International.

“Situated in a prime area in the city centre the hotel offers the brand’s renowned comfortable hospitality experience that meets the needs of today’s modern traveler,” he said.

Four Points by Sheraton Setif features 191 contemporary and spacious rooms boasting spectacular views of the city, including 13 suites and inter-connecting rooms designed to suit the needs of families and large groups staying for an extended duration.

Four Points by Sheraton Setif also caters to the needs of business travelers offering four meeting rooms equipped with the latest technology, 24-hour Business services and a dedicated events team tasked to deliver seamless business experiences.

The hotel has two dining venues, Brezza – an Italian restaurant set against a backdrop of city views from the 17th floor, and Zitoune – a Magherbine inspired all day dining restaurant.

“Directly connected to an ultra-modern mall, guests have access to a large variety of international fashion brands, a dedicated kid’s zone, a 7D Cinema and an ice-skating rink. The mall features a convention centre providing an ideal meeting hub and event location for large groups of up to 400 people,” Mariott said in a statement.
